Bridal boudoir is so popular today--I think it's the best gift you can give your groom on your wedding night or at your first look on your wedding day. Mrs. D came to see me before her fall wedding here in Denver. When we did her styling consult, we decided that she would look great in retro-feel makeup and hair (courtesy of AK Studio's Kori Schell). She's a girl who lives life to the fullest and was up for anything at her boudoir session. Like many brides who come to me for sexy boudoir photos, Mrs. D decided to wear her bridal lingerie, wedding jewelry and veil in some of her photos. I love that so much. Her husband not only enjoyed how beautiful she looked walking down the aisle, but also has a lovely keepsake album full of photos of her wearing everything but the dress.
Mrs. D was smart and booked her boudoir session two months before her wedding. That way she was guaranteed to have her album before her wedding day, and when we created her sexy portraits, she wasn't full of pre-wedding stress. She could relax and have fun! At her ordering appointment, she chose to put her photos in a Boudoir Book, chose a small digital collection and put her favorite image on a canvas to display in her home. Her new husband was surprised and thrilled!
If you're getting married, schedule your bridal boudoir session. My session calendar is usually full six weeks out (and more so if you need a Saturday appointment). I prefer to photograph you about three months before your wedding date so your shoot does *not* add to the pre-wedding stress. So give yourself plenty of time to have these gorgeous portraits done.
