[dropcap color="" boxed="no" boxed_radius="8px" class="" id=""]I[/dropcap]n mid-June, I booked a trip to see my friend and fellow boudoir photographer Petra Herrmann in Kansas City as a birthday present to myself. Petra and I are fast friends, and we visit each other a few times a year. And, of course, we can't help ourselves but to hire a model, get out our cameras and play. I love working in Petra's funky, loft-style studio. Just getting out of my studio space opens up my creativity and allows me to play in a way I may not with regular clients--new poses, new equipment, new locations. I even played with a different way of editing the photos, adding a little extra warmth and haze for fun and to capture the dreamy afternoon fantasy I wanted to create.
On our second day of shooting, the lovely model Jennifer got in front of our cameras. We took turns styling and posing her. This is a set from her first outfit. As a warning, there is nudity in this set, so I wouldn't check it out at work.
