Ms. R came commissioned me to make some sexy-beautiful boudoir photos as a wedding gift for her husband-to-be. She brought amazing outfits for her session in my Denver, Colo. boudoir studio. Instead of bridal white, she opted for color, details, sheer and lace fabrics. You can see her first outfit here--a cute, vintage-styled bra and panty set from Victoria's Secret. We used her second outfit as her strip-tease set. In my frequent surveying of the men I meet, they report that photos of a woman taking it off (even something as simple as unbuttoning a blouse) are smokin' hot. And, for the women who get in front of my camera, it's a fun way to work into implied or artistic nudes.
Ms. R brought this sexy leather jacket for her strip-tease set. I like to capture beautiful portraits with the whole outfit first. Then I demonstrate how I'd like her to remove her clothing. Ms. R was great at taking direction, and we captured this series in the first take (after a bit of practice without the camera pointed at her).
What I really love in these photographs is her facial expressions. We went for sultry, and I gave her direction to "invite him" to follow her. I think facial expressions are what makes most women nervous about doing a boudoir session, so I give you things to think about that help bring the emotions, smiles (or soft mouth) to the photo and really engage with the viewer.
I'm so grateful to Ms. R for allowing me to share her sexy leather jacket boudoir photos here.
