The most-asked questions ... and answers

Where is your studio?

My studio is in central Aurora, Colorado, near I-225 and Parker Road. It's conveniently located near Parker, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Lone Tree, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Littleton, Denver, and Cherry Creek. It's located about 25 minutes southeast of the Highlands and downtown Denver, and about 35 minutes from Boulder, Thornton, Westminster and Arvada.

You come here for your planning meeting, your photoshoot and your ordering appointment, and then to pick up your order.

Do you 'Photoshop' my photos?

YES! I think Photoshop is awesome when it is used with a light hand and in a way that draws your eye to your beauty. I work with a professional retoucher who knows how to remove the cellulite dimple on your thigh while making you look refreshed, natural and, well, like yourself. Blemishes and dark eye circles? Gone! Bruises and scratches? Gone! Stretch marks and cellulite will be softened so they're barely noticeable.

At your reveal & ordering appointment, you will see a gallery of photos that have been lightly retouched. Then I'll send your purchased photos to my editor for the full deal. This allows you to see your photos much sooner (the same day as your session instead of within weeks), and allows me to keep my costs lower.

What we don't do: Completely remove skin folds, reshape your body, remove all skin texture so you look like an alien, make you look 10 years younger. Also: removing tan lines, fixing fake tans (aka Oompa Loompa skin), and removing tattoos require an extra fee.

Will my boudoir photos be on the Internet?

I love it when my clients want to show off their portraits ... but they have to give me permission to share them in my various venues. I take your privacy seriously. I am using every photo on my website with written permission from the people in the pictures. You can read my privacy policy for more information.

How many outfits are included?

Luxury Sessions include 2 outfits—any mix of lingerie, sheets, or fine art nude bodyscapes. You can add 1 more outfit at your session for $75, paid at your ordering appointment.

Do I bring my own outfits?

Yes. You bring your own lingerie, outfits, shoes and accessories to your session, and then we collaborate on your styling for each look. I do have a nice shoe and jewelry wardrobe you can pull from if those are items you don't use regularly.

Who does my hair and makeup?

Professional makeup (with lashes) and dry hair styling is complimentary and required. I use only licensed hair and makeup artists. Your luxurious makeover happens at my studio and gives you time to relax and feel pampered.

Can I bring Someone else to my boudoir shoot?

Nope. Having people who are not being photographed at your session is distracting for both of us. I want you feel relaxed and focused on taking this time for yourself. (You're welcome to bring one incredibly supportive cheerleader-type person to your ordering appointment. But only one.)

What types of photo products do you offer?

I offer albums, digital photos,  and fine art wall & desk display. These are items unlike what you can find on your own--handmade fine art wedding albums, bespoke framed canvas, archival metal prints.

When do I get to see my photographs?

About 2 hours after your session! You'll return to my studio for your reveal and ordering appointment around 4pm on your session day. You'll need to finalize your order at this session, including full payment.

How much should I expect to spend?

At minimum, you’ll spend $785 for your session, hair & makeup, and a small book of photos. But let’s be realistic—it’s rare for women to purchase fewer than 30 photos, so most upgrade to a Collection and spend $1800+ total.

I accept cash, credit, debit and PayPal Credit (look into this before your ordering appointment. I offer strict installment plans for product purchases of $1400+ (50% down, 5% administrative fee, 90 days to pay).

I'm doing this for a special occasion. How much lead time do I need?

I prefer to shoot Boudoir Sessions at least 4 weeks before the date you need your finished printed photos. Expect to receive your order about 2 - 3 weeks after your ordering appointment.

What's next?

Well, let's get in touch with each other, why don't we? I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation to answer all of your questions and, if you’re ready, to book your session.
